Physical Therapist
Please note that Lisa is currently unavailable.
Lisa strives to uncover the root cause of her client’s symptoms to correct the underlying dysfunction while also preventing the problem from recurring.
Her holistic approach combines her client’s functional goals and her clinical expertise to develop an individualized and focused treatment plan.
Lisa believes that our bodies are meant to move!
She seizes every opportunity to educate her clients on their condition and how they can manage their symptoms. She assigns a home exercise program to every patient so that they can have an active role in their own recovery and rehabilitation.
In addition to exercise and education, Lisa’s treatment heavily focuses on manual therapy and dry needling.
Lisa has experience working with a variety of clients, including former Olympians, varsity athletes, Disney Cruise Line performers, weekend warriors, and urban desk jockeys.
She truly enjoys working with people of all ages, especially older adults who want to remain active later in life.
Although Lisa likes treating a variety of different injuries and conditions, she particularly enjoys treating pelvic floor dysfunction (incontinence, prolapse, and prenatal/postnatal conditions), hip and knee osteoarthritis, post-surgical conditions and fractures, sports-related injuries, and lower back pain.
When Lisa isn’t working as a physiotherapist, she is likely spending time with her husband, daughter, and dog – or exercising in the outdoors. She also enjoys alpine and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking with her dog, cooking, and baking
